Dr. Vikas Soni (b. 1979) is Ph. D. in Electronics Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. He obtained Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Instrumentation and Control from Government Engineering College Kota, Rajasthan, India in 2004 and Master of Technology in Digital Communication from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and Rajasthan, India in 2011. He has published more than 50 research papers in various National/International reputed Journals and conferences. He is the author/co-author of six technical books such as; Electronics Measurement and Instrumentation, Electrical Measurement, Instrumentation, Digital Signal Processing and Random Variable & Stochastic processes. His research interests are in area of optimization methods based controllers for power systems, soft computing techniques in Engineering fields, IIR and FIR digital filters, stochastic processes and random variables, electrical and electronics measurement and advanced microwave devices. He has guided 4 M. Tech Thesis. He has organized various Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and FDPs as a convener and He has obtained the grant / sponsorship from ISRO and RTU, Kota for some conferences, workshops and FDP.
