Department of Mechanical Engineering
About the Program
Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest branches of engineering that applies principles of physics, mathematics, and material science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The department focuses on providing strong theoretical knowledge along with practical exposure to prepare students for modern industrial and technological challenges.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is equipped with modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and experienced faculty members dedicated to teaching, research, and innovation. The department aims to develop technically skilled, ethically responsible, and industry-ready engineers capable of contributing to society and technological advancement.
Mechanical engineers play an important role in industries such as automotive, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, energy, biotechnology, automation, and thermal power systems.
